I say...........GOD'S OWN COUNTRY..... is my INDIA !
Let me introduce you all to a few places in the ever so beautiful state of Himachal and Uttrakhand (or Uttranchal).
These two states are in the northern part of India.
UTTRAKHAND was fomerly known as Uttranchal. It is also reffered to as "DEV BHOOMI" which means "Land of the Gods" due to the many Hindu temples and pilgrimage centers found here. Uttrakhand is known for its natural beauty , Himalayas, and the beautiful Terai region.
The capital of Uttrakhand is Dehradun.
HIMACHAL PRADESH is towards the north west of Uttrakhand. It is again a state with immense natural beauty, mountains, rivers and jungles.
This is the only state which forbids the use of polythene and tobacco products.
The capital of Himachal is Shimla.

After a short and a refreshing stay in Hatkoti and after visited the temple..... it was time for us to leave.
We did not want to go back via Chakrata , infact decided to take the right turn after crossing the bridge in Tiuni. This would lead directly to Vikasnagar.
